New York – October 3-5, 2019 – Greenspoon Marder Partner, Robert Wessely, will be a panel moderator for the Southern Regional Practice review at the “The Cannabis Law Institute” presented by the International Cannabis Bar Association. The third Annual Cannabis Law Institute (CLI), is the apex of cannabis-industry legal education. As in years past, CLI will feature both plenary and dual-track educational sessions, allowing attendees to direct their own comprehensive educational experience.
Mr. Wessely, who is currently active in cross-border M&A, securities and regulatory matters for the cannabis industry, focuses his practice on international and domestic corporate transactions, including strategic and structural advice regarding mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, financing, restructuring, distribution and licensing transactions. His practice extends to a variety of other industries as well, ranging from financial institutions (including M&A for broker/dealers, offshore funds and other investment vehicles) to pharmaceuticals, software licensing and distribution, manufacturing, media (radio and television, publishing and film), architecture and construction, oil and gas, as well as advising the real estate industry on blockchain and tokenization.
