Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – March 27, 2024 – Greenspoon Marder Bankruptcy and Reorganization partner Elissa D. Miller and Cannabis Law partner Matthew Ginder have been named to the inaugural America’s Top 200 Lawyers List 2024 by Forbes. According to the media company, this first annual ‘Top 200 Lawyers’ list recognizes the lawyers with the “most impressive track records in their specialties, the leaders in their fields,” and the attorneys that are “most respected by peers and clients.”
Ms. Miller is a well-established bankruptcy lawyer and fiduciary, representing secured and unsecured creditors, creditors’ committees, and trustees in both Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases. She is a member of the Chapter 7 Panel of Bankruptcy Trustees appointed by the Office of the United States Trustee in the Central District of California and serves as a Chapter 11 trustee. Ms. Miller has represented numerous creditors in all cases, and she counsels a wide array of clients including public and private corporations, financial institutions, high-net-worth individuals, and small businesses, among others.
Mr. Ginder represents various cannabis and hemp-related businesses where he assists in many areas of the industry, including licensing, regulatory and compliance, and business transactions. He also represents ancillary businesses that provide products or services to the cannabis industry and advises individuals, investors, lenders, startups, and large corporations on direct and indirect participation in state-legal cannabis markets.
