Greenspoon Marder Partners Evan M. Goldman and Kelly M. Purcaro Recognized as 2023 NJBIZ Leaders in Law Honorees

Newark, N.J. – April 13, 2023 – Greenspoon Marder Franchise Law partner and co-chair Evan M. Goldman, and Litigation practice group partner Kelly Magnus Purcaro, have been recognized by NJBIZ as “2023 Leaders in Law Award Honorees.” This program honors legal professionals – lawyers and general counsels – whose dedication to their occupation and to their communities is deemed “outstanding.” Honorees will be recognized during an in-person awards ceremony on Thursday, May 25th at 8 a.m., located at The Palace at Somerset Park.

NJBIZ, New Jersey’s leading business journal, was founded in 1987 and is based in the Somerset section of Franklin Township. It is well-known throughout the state for its events honoring New Jersey’s top business professionals. Mr. Goldman concentrates his practice on franchises, working closely with both franchisor and franchisee clients to draft, negotiate, and register disclosure documents, franchise agreements, and related key documentation. Beyond the transactional work, Mr. Goldman regularly represents clients in dispute categories such as termination issues, breach of contract, trademark infringement disputes, fraud claims, and enforcement of non-competition agreements.

Ms. Purcaro specializes in complex commercial litigation across the United States. As a seasoned trial attorney, Ms. Purcaro is experienced in an array of litigation matters, including state and national multi-party business disputes, class actions, employment disputes, consumer fraud, breach of contract, and restrictive covenants litigation. Often in her practice, Ms. Purcaro represents both individual and institutional clients in most sensitive matters.
