Mr. Backman is a partner with the Litigation practice group at Greenspoon Marder LLP. He focuses his practice on complex class action defense and general commercial litigation. Mr. Backman has defended clients in federal courts throughout the country, and is at the forefront of the legal landscape involving the telemarketing industry. He also advises clients in legal compliance matters and defends clients before all regulatory bodies such as the Federal Trade Commission, the Federal Communication Commission, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and States Attorneys General.
Ms. Baker is a partner in the litigation practice group and is the Firm’s Director of Attorney Development. Ms. Baker focuses her law practice in the areas of commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution, with significant emphasis in the areas of business and real estate litigation. Ms. Baker has represented public and private companies in a variety of corporate litigation matters. She has litigated shareholder derivative lawsuits through trial and appeals, ending with favorable outcomes for her clients.
