Greenspoon Marder Partners Murray B. Silverstein & Mark F. Grant Named Among Florida Trend’s “Florida Legal Elite” 2018

Fort Lauderdale, FL – June 29, 2018 – Greenspoon Marder partners, Murray B. Silverstein and Mark F. Grant, have been named among Florida Trend magazine’s “Florida Legal Elite” in 2018. For fifteen years, Florida Legal Elite has presented a prestigious, peer-elected roster of attorneys, each of whom has exemplified a standard of excellence in the legal profession which has garnered the respect and esteem of colleagues. Votes were collected by asking Florida lawyers to name fellow attorneys whom they held in the highest regard; attorneys were then given a score determined by number of votes received, with votes coming from outside of their firms carrying more weight. The resulting list represents less than 1.2% of the active Florida Bar members practicing in Florida.

Mr. Silverstein has over 36 years of experience in complex commercial, business, and real estate litigation, as well as appeals, throughout the federal and state courts of Florida. He is a regular advocate for the rights of indigents needing access to the courts through extended pro bono representation, and through his service as a board member on the Florida Bar Foundation. In addition, Mr. Silverstein previously served as an 8-year member of The Florida Bar Board of Governors, and continues his service to the bar though active rule committee membership and related participation.

Mr. Grant concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate acquisition and development, condominium and homeowner association documentation, commercial leasing, workouts and commercial lending. Mr. Grant has a statewide reputation as a specialist in the area of large residential, commercial, hotel, and mixed use developments. He has been a frequent lecturer for The Florida Bar and the University of Miami Institute on condominium and cluster developments, and serves as a faculty member of that Institute. In April 2008, Mr. Grant was elected as a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL), and he presently serves as Chair of its Common Interest Ownership Committee.
