The firm will be sponsoring a student from Young Musician’s Unite to attend masterclasses on February 22nd and 23rd in Islamorada in the Florida Keys. Led by Partner Leslie José Zigel, this sponsorship is a part of the firm’s goal to enhance music education for young kids and teens, and their ongoing partnership with Young Musicians Unite (YMU).
Bassology Around the World combines Anthony Wellington’s love of teaching music theory and its application with his love of travel to create exciting and innovative learning opportunities for his beloved students. Mr. Wellington is one of the most sought-after music teachers in the world today and longtime holder of the coveted 2nd bass position in the Victor Wooten Band. Mr. Wellington will be hosting not for profit clinics in Miami for students and supporters of Guitars Over Guns on February 24th and YMU on February 25th.
Leslie José Zigel is a partner and Chair of Greenspoon Marder’s Entertainment, Media & Technology Industry Group. Mr. Zigel focuses on both the creative and business sides of the entertainment industries in the music, television, film and new technology sectors.
