Tallahassee, Fla. – August 11, 2021 – Greenspoon Marder is pleased to announce that senior counsel Michael Martinez has been appointed as the new Associate Member representative for the Executive Committee of the National Conference of State Liquor Administrators (NCSLA). This is an important and highly visible role with the NCSLA, strengthening our access points in virtually every state with regulators’ senior management.
The NCSLA is composed of state regulators as members consisting of manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, law firms, associations, and other service-related organizations in the alcoholic beverages sector. The primary focus of NCSLA is education on historical and current issues related to the regulation of alcoholic beverages.
Mr. Martinez is senior counsel to both the Cannabis Law Group and the Hospitality, Alcohol and Leisure Industries Group. Since joining the firm Mr. Martinez has been involved in cannabis and hemp related regulatory issues. He has been asked to speak at industry conferences, provide training to a state regulatory body and has attended numerous medical marijuana legislative and rulemaking hearings. Mr. Martinez also provides legal services to all tiers of the alcohol beverage industry, including retailers, suppliers and wholesalers. In addition, he serves as an Associate Member representative for the Executive Committee of the NCSLA.
