Las Vegas, NV – June 29, 2017 – Greenspoon Marder senior counsel Neal Gidvani will be a speaker at the Las Vegas Medical Marijuana Association’s Legal & Legislative Update. It will take place on Thursday, June 29th in Las Vegas at 11:30 am. Mr. Gidvani will be going over Nevada’s new rules concerning medical marijuana.
The Las Vegas Medical Marijuana Association is a chamber of commerce for medical marijuana, organized to promote the medical marijuana industry in Nevada. They have a diverse membership of dispensary owners, production facilities, cultivators, labs and various companies that work with the industry. We also have patients, doctors, nurses and researchers. They also have supporters of medical marijuana. They believe that we need to include as many people as possible for the health aspects as well as the economic opportunities it will create in Nevada.
Mr. Gidvani has several years of experience representing financial institutions and investment groups with all matters related to foreclosure including, mediation, regulatory compliance and general litigation. Additionally, he assists the firm in developing its regulated substances practice on the West Coast as he has spent the last few years working with state and local officials representing clients who develop businesses related to the cannabis industry.
