GREENSPOON MARDER SHAREHOLDER JEFFREY BACKMAN SERVED AS A PANELIST AT THE 2016 PACE WASHINGTON TCPA SUMMIT
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – September 19, 2016 – Greenspoon Marder shareholder Jeffrey Backman joined the TCPA Class Action panel at this week’s 2016 PACE Washington TCPA Summit. Backman has been a longtime member of the organization, and most recently spoke at PACE’s 2016 Convention & Expo this past April. During the class action panel, Backman and other panelist discussed the latest TCPA trends in class action litigation.
The Professional Association for Customer Engagement (PACE) is the only non-profit trade organization dedicated exclusively to the advancement of companies that use a multi-channel approach to engaging their customers. The Washington summit gives attendees the opportunity to connect with influential policy makers, experts and colleagues, as well as learn the latest regulatory compliance issues.
Backman focuses his practice on complex class action defense and general commercial litigation. He advises clients in legal compliance matters and defends clients before all regulatory bodies such as the Federal Trade Commission, the Federal Communication Commission, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and States Attorneys General. In addition to his busy practice, he was recently appointed to the Southeast Chapter Board of Directors of PACE.
