GREENSPOON MARDER SHAREHOLDER JOE GELLER RECEIVES A 2017 COUNTY CHAMPION AWARD FROM FLORIDA ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES
Dania Beach, FL – June 29, 2017 – Greenspoon Marder shareholder Joseph S. Geller has been selected to receive the 2017 County Champion Award from the Florida Association of Counties (FAC).
The County Champion awards are presented to the legislators who have demonstrated support and understanding of county issues during the legislative session. Mr. Geller has been recognized for his strong commitment to address important local government issues during the 2017 Legislative Session. His dedication to improve and maintain a high quality of life for all Floridians and to strengthen public policy is especially appreciated.
Mr. Geller focuses his practice on civil litigation, administrative law, election law, government relations, municipal law and land use and zoning. He has extensive litigation experience in both the Florida and federal courts. Mr. Geller was elected to the State House of Representatives, District 100, representing parts of Northeast Dade and Southeast Broward, in November 2014 and was reelected without opposition in November 2016. He previously served two terms as Mayor of the City of North Bay Village, Florida.
