TO BE HONORED AT 2017 MITZVAH SOCIETY RECEPTION
FORT LAUDERDALE – February 13, 2017 – Greenspoon Marder shareholder Laurence “Larry” I. Blair will be honored at the Mitzvah Society Reception on Wednesday, February 22. A highly respected leader in the Jewish community, Mr. Blair chairs the Jacobson Jewish Community Foundation’s (JJCF) Professional Advisory Committee and Federation’s “Emerging Jewish Philanthropists” team.
The Mitzvah Society has recognized estate professionals who have been instrumental in guiding clients to establish chartable legacies with planned gifts to the JJCF. The Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County strategically engages donors, supporters and community partners in addressing and planning for current and future needs of the Jewish people locally, in Israel and around the world.
Mr. Blair concentrates his practice in the areas of estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax planning with an emphasis on representing families and entrepreneurs in multiple-generation wealth transfer and asset protection planning. He also represents clients with business succession planning needs, including shareholders’ agreements, buy-sell and cross purchase agreements, and business transactions, including purchases and sales of businesses.
