GREENSPOON MARDER SHAREHOLDER PETER SIEGEL TO BE THE FEATURED SPEAKER AT THE WOMEN’S EXECUTIVE CLUB OF FORT LAUDERDALE
Fort Lauderdale – December 22, 2016 – Greenspoon Marder shareholder, Peter Siegel, will be the featured speaker at the Women’s Executive Club of Fort Lauderdale January Luncheon on Thursday, January 19th in Fort Lauderdale. Mr. Siegel will discuss the “Top Ten Ways to Avoid Employee Lawsuits in Today’s Litigious World.” He will cover topics including how to avoid the theft of digital information, how employers and business owners can avoid lawsuits, employer risks and obligations regarding social media practices, anticipated changes to labor regulations during the Trump Administration, and a variety of other topics.
The purpose of the Women’s Executive Club of Fort Lauderdale is to give executives the opportunity of fellowship with their peers in diverse fields; promote the image of the women executive; further the interrelationships of such executives and to promote the general welfare of their business and community.
Mr. Siegel focuses his practice in the areas of labor and employment law, and is a frequent public speaker on HR-related topics. He counsels employers on all aspects of the employment relationship including interviewing, hiring, employee discipline and discharge issues, and the drafting and negotiating of employment and severance agreements. Mr. Siegel is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association and the Society for Human Resource Management.
