GREENSPOON MARDER SHAREHOLDERS REBECCA FAITH BRATTER AND MARBET LEWIS RECOGNIZED AS 2017 ON THE RISE HONOREES BY THE DAILY BUSINESS REVIEW
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – May 9, 2017 – Greenspoon Marder is pleased to announce that shareholders Rebecca Faith Bratter and Marbet Lewis have been recognized as 2017 On the Rise honorees by the Daily Business Journal (DBR). Honorees are “considered innovators, developing unique practice niches, amassing robust books of business, demonstrating strong leadership qualities, showing expertise in litigation or transactional work, and committing themselves to pro bono, charitable and professional volunteer work.”
Ms. Bratter serves as the deputy managing shareholder firm-wide of the firm with over seventeen years of tenure. She is a leading member of the firm’s Management Committee, specifically responsible for firm strategy and growth, working closely alongside the co-founders, and also serves on the firm’s Impact Council. In addition, Ms. Bratter leads the firm’s efforts in connection to charitable, community service and pro bono efforts and is highly involved with several charitable organizations including the Dan Marino Foundation, Here’s Help, and Arc Broward. In 2012, she started the Kids Can Foundation based on the concept of kids helping other kids by empowering them to give back to the community and enrich the lives of those who are less fortunate.
Ms. Lewis focuses her practice on the laws governing the alcohol industry and the manufacture, importation, and sale of alcohol beverage products. She represents clients in all aspects of alcohol business licensing, national alcohol licensee mergers and acquisitions, negotiation of asset purchase agreements and required alcohol use provisions, license transfers and licensing due diligence, trade practices, contracting between industry members, industry member relationships, alcohol product advertising and review of marketing agreements, importation agreements, label approvals, and regulatory compliance guidance.
