GREENSPOON MARDER SUPPORTS EMERALD SOCIETY’S 67TH ANNUAL PATRICK’S DAY GALA
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – March 7, 2017 – Greenspoon Marder is proud to support the Emerald Society’s 67th St. Patrick’s Day Gala, where the following individuals will be honored during the event: “Irish Person of the Year” the Honorable Joseph A. Murphy; “Humanitarian of the Year” Mary Reidel; “Community Hero” Sergeant Jack Lokeinsky; Irish Mother of the Year” Mary Walsh Perkins; and “Honorary Irish Person of the Year” Commissioner Adam H. Putnam. Shareholder, Steven Wherry will be in attendance, representing the firm.
The event will take place on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Bahia Mar Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale, FL, beginning at 9:30am, featuring an Irish breakfast, Irish music, Irish step dancers, and bagpipes. Proceeds associated with the event are used to fund scholarships for deserving youth of Broward County.
Emerald Society of Fort Lauderdale, Inc. is a non-profit organization, founded in 1951 by Monsignor John J. O’Looney of St. Anthony’s Parish. The tradition of a breakfast, honoring St. Patrick and shared Irish Heritage, has grown to a large well attended annual event.
