THE GOODMAN JEWISH FAMILY SERVICES OF BROWARD COUNTY
Fort Lauderdale, FL – December 28, 2016 – Greenspoon Marder is proud to support the Goodman Jewish Family Services of Broward County and their 10th Annual Kolot “Breaking the Silence Luncheon” to benefit the organizations domestic abuse program. The organization currently serves more than 200 domestic abuse survivors and their children.
The Goodman JFS Domestic Abuse Program provides a crisis line, individual and group counseling, case management, financial assistance for food, housing, medication, child care, and other necessities, free of charge to those in need. The Domestic Abuse Program’s volunteer arm, KOLOT (“Voices” in Hebrew), also offers educational events, such as teen relationship workshops in the community.
For more than 54 years, Goodman JFS has helped thousands of Broward County residents with life’s hardest challenges. Goodman JFS is dedicated to empowering individuals, strengthening families, and protecting the vulnerable by providing exceptional social services to the entire community, based on Jewish values.
