MARIJUANA BUSINESS CONFERENCE & EXPO IN WASHINGTON, D.C.
Fort Lauderdale, FL – May 9, 2017 – Greenspoon Marder is proud to support the Spring 2017 Marijuana Business Conference & Expo on May 17th – May 19th in Washington, D.C. The firm will be sponsoring the official show party of the conference, the MJBizCon Mixer, on Wednesday the 17th, beginning at 5:00 PM. The mixer gives conference attendees the chance to mingle with MJBizCon speakers and thousands of industry peers for after-hours networking. In addition, Greenspoon Marder will be at booth #405 during the three day expo.
Greenspoon Marder shareholder Amy Margolis will be a featured speaker on Thursday, May 18th at 9:30 AM on the “Preparing for the Inevitable: Adapting to Regulatory Changes on Infused Products” panel. Speakers will discuss how to prepare for and anticipate the shifting regulatory landscape for infused products, as well as give attendees an idea of how these changes may affect their business and provide insight into regulatory trends on infused products.
Ms. Margolis is experienced in aiding cannabis business who produced infused products through the hurdles of the shifting regulatory landscape. She is directly involved with the state’s policy discussion around implementation of medical and recreational cannabis and she has been tapped to serve on a number of rulemaking committees. Additionally, Ms. Margolis has led two Oregon lobbying trips to Washington, D.C., and will be leading a third trip on June 19th – 21st.
