Partner Matthew Ginder and Senior Counsel Michael Martinez will be featured speakers at the event. Matthew Ginder is partner in the Cannabis Law practice group at Greenspoon Marder. Mr. Ginder represents various cannabis and hemp related businesses where he assists in many areas of the industry, including licensing, regulatory and compliance, and business transactions. He also represents ancillary businesses who provide products or services to the cannabis industry and advises individuals, investors, lenders, startups, and large corporations on direct and indirect participation in state-legal cannabis markets.
Michael Martinez is senior counsel to both the Cannabis Law Group and the Hospitality, Alcohol and Leisure Industries Group. Since joining the firm Mr. Martinez has been involved in cannabis and hemp related regulatory issues. He has been asked to speak at industry conferences, provide training to a state regulatory body and has attended numerous medical marijuana legislative and rulemaking hearings. Mr. Martinez also provides legal services to all tiers of the alcohol beverage industry, including retailers, suppliers and wholesalers. More broadly, in the course of representing clients before the Food and Drug Administration, the Florida Departments of Health, Agriculture and Consumer Services, as well as Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR), he has handled licensing matters, the defense of administrative complaints, rule challenge hearings, Circuit Court appeals and compliance consulting.
