The Firm partners with several charities to give back to the local Phoenix Community
Phoenix, AZ – January 27, 2020 – Greenspoon Marder is proud to support the Waste Management Phoenix Open on January 27th-February 2nd. The Waste Management Phoenix Open (WMPO), known as “The Greatest Show on Grass,” is held at TPC Scottsdale annually in early February. The 2019 Waste Management Phoenix Open raised more than $13.2 million dollars for charity, setting a tournament record for the eighth straight year. The Thunderbirds and the WMPO have raised more than $45M for charities since 2010 when Waste Management became the title sponsor. The Thunderbirds, hosts of the Waste Management Phoenix Open, were founded in 1937 when the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce expanded its role as a convention and tourism bureau.
As a way to give back to the local Phoenix community, the firm has partnered with Boys and Girls Club of Greater Scottsdale, Boys and Girls Club of Metro Phoenix East Valley, Big Brother Big Sisters of Central Arizona, Make A Wish Arizona, the Be Kind People Project, and Human Services Campus, donating daily tickets for members and supporters to enjoy the 18th green at one of Phoenix’s largest events of the year.
