Nico Apfelbaum, attorney in the West Palm Beach and Port Saint Lucie offices of Greenspoon Marder, was recently elected as the new Secretary of the Port Saint Lucie Bar Association for a one-year term, 2013-2014. Apfelbaum was elected to fill the vacancy in the office formerly held by John Cannizzaro, Esq., who recently left office, due to relocation.

Apfelbaum concentrates his practice in the areas of collections, creditors’ rights, and commercial and UCC litigation for banks and other institutional creditors. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Apfelbaum is a member of the Economic Development Council of St. Lucie County, part of Leadership St. Lucie by the St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce, Class 31, and part of the Class 2014 of the Emerging Leadership Project by the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County.
Apfelbaum attended University of Florida for both his undergraduate and law school degrees, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in Finance, and Cum Laude from law school.
