FT. LAUDERDALE, FLA. (Thurs., June 14, 2012) – Greenspoon Marder shareholder Michael S. Ross, Esq. has been appointed to the Board of Governors for Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center for a three-year term beginning July 1, 2012 and ending June 30, 2015.
Ross, who graduated with honors from Shepard Broad Law Center in 1978, will now be responsible for working with the other members of the board in providing advice and counsel to the Dean on various law school matters and assisting in building relationships in the legal community to promote and enhance the reputation of the law school.
“It’s an exciting opportunity to be able to serve on the board of my alma mater,” said Ross. “I look forward to working with the other board members to continue to promote and position Shepard Broward Law Center as a premier law school in South Florida.”
An AV-Preeminent rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, Ross is currently a senior shareholder in Greenspoon Marder’s Real Estate Law group in Ft. Lauderdale. His primary areas of practice include: commercial real estate; finance and transactions; and banking. He is a member of the Miami Beach, Broward County, Dade County, New York State and Florida Bar Associations.
