Fort Lauderdale, Fl. – December 15, 2014 – Greenspoon Marder Law shareholder, Rebecca Bratter, has been appointed to a three year term to the Board of Directors of the Young At Art Museum.
The Young At Art Museum serves as a unique art experience for children, with numerous exhibits and activities designed to integrate the arts into the various developmental stages of childhood and adolescence. Individuals can establish a sense of identity through the exploration of colors, sounds and textures, architectural design and cultural history.
Bratter serves as the Practice Group Chair for the firm’s Banking & Finance Litigation group. She also serves as the firm’s Litigation Manager where she oversees the work of the firm’s litigation associates in addition to also serving on the firm’s Executive Litigation Committee.
Bratter heads up the firm’s newly formed Associate Development Committee where she fosters the professional development of more than 70 associates, firm-wide. She is a member of the firm’s Management Committee, which is responsible for various firm issues such as recruiting, accounting and also serves on both the firm’s Impact Council.
Bratter is the founder of Kids Can, a charitable organization that works to unlock the potential in children aged 3-9 and to empower them to give back to the community and enrich the lives of those who are less fortunate. She actively works with Art REACH, a nationally awarded after-school art and academic enrichment program for homeless children in Broward emergency and transitional shelters.
Bratter holds court admissions for the United States District Court: Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, and the U.S. Supreme Court. She received her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center and her Bachelor of Arts from George Washington University.
