GM Orlando Raises Money and Food for its Neighbors at Community 5K

Interviewer: We are very excited to be here in beautiful downtown Orlando, Florida for the 22nd IOA Corporate 5K. We are not only proud to be supporters of this as a sponsor, but as participants, and we look forward to racing. We have a beautiful day of weather out here, and a lot of other great community leaders and can’t wait for this to kick off.

Woman 1: I’m so excited, because I’m support, and I am supporting the people that needs, have needs, needful, so that’s why i’m with my company Graceful Model, 100%.

Woman 2: It’s a great reason for us to be outside the office together with coworkers in this awesome race that we’re able to raise money, raise awareness about Second Harvest today.

Woman 3: Our whole entire staff worked together, our clerks, our lawyers, everybody. Family members brought in cans, brought everything in to make the largest contribution we have ever done. As a large… As a law firm, in our 30 year history, this the highest amount of food and money that we have raised for a single event.

Man 1: Today is going to be a really good day. This run is a great way to stay in shape. It’s nice to do it for the community.

Man 2: It was amazing. Great day, great weather, beautiful people.

Woman 4: I want to see the Orange County team.

Woman 6: Bringing it in. We’re bringing it in. Cheer.

Woman 7: We did it, baby.

Woman 9: It was awesome, so many people, and we just kept walking. It was awesome.

Woman 10: We are very excited, very tired, but very happy we did it.

Woman 11: We did it.

Woman 12: We made it.

Woman 13: I loved it. It was amazing and I came in first place for the walkers for my firm.

Woman 14: Amazing experience getting to be with 17,000 other people. Amazing. I will definitely do it again. I totally recommend it. Great cause.

Woman 15: I had a great time. Unfortunately, I couldn’t join the race because I’m trying to raise the next generation of runners, but I enjoyed sitting back and watching everybody run.

Interviewer: Very happy to wrap up tonight’s beautiful evening at the IOA Corporate 5K. We raised more than $6,000, had a great team effort, more than 45 people with Team Greenspoon Marder. I want to give a big shout-out to Micheal Marder and Jerry Greenspoon for allowing this to happen. We look forward to our continued success of this event, and we are happy to be able to provide this assistance to the community, Second Harvest Food Bank and Christian Services.
