Overview

Jamey R. Campellone is an associate in Greenspoon Marder’s Litigation practice group. Mr. Campellone concentrates his practice in the areas of complex commercial and civil litigation in both federal and state courts throughout the country. He also has experience representing clients in arbitration matters governed by the American Arbitration Association and JAMS, as well as in appellate matters and in bankruptcy proceedings. Mr. Campellone’s practice primarily focuses on complex commercial litigation matters concerning business-to-business disputes. He also frequently defends nationwide class action claims arising under consumer protection statutes and unfair competition statutes, including, just as some examples, the TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act), FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act), FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act), and the DPPA (Driver’s Privacy Protection Act).

Prior to joining Greenspoon Marder, Mr. Campellone attended the University of Miami School of Law, graduating with Honors. While at Miami Law, Mr. Campellone was the Executive Vice President of the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board, served as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Laurel M. Isicoff for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida, and interned at the University of Miami Investor Rights Clinic and the University of Miami Health Rights Clinic. Mr. Campellone holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with concentrations in Finance and Management, from Ithaca College, where he also graduated with Honors.

Representative Experience

  • Representation of a designer and wholesaler of aftermarket automotive wheels and caps in a lawsuit filed in the Central District of California by a Taiwanese manufacturer alleging claims for fraud, breach of contract, book account, breach of implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, negligent interference with a prospective economic advantage, promissory estoppel, and beach of personal guarantee.
  • Representation of one of the largest, publicly traded cannabis companies in North America in a lawsuit filed in Clark County, Nevada by a former business consultant alleging a claim for unjust enrichment and demanding $167 million in damages.
