Elizabeth (Beth) Tener is a partner with Greenspoon Marder LLP’s Marital & Family Law practice group and she leads the firm’s Central Florida family law practice. With over 20 years of experience as a trial attorney, she began her career in 2004 as an Assistant State Attorney. As a Orlando Family Law lawyer, Ms. Tener devotes her practice to handling a wide range of marital and family law matters, including traditional and collaborative divorce; high net-worth divorce; LGBTQ same-sex marital and family issues; alimony; child custody; child support; valuation of marital assets; pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements; relocation; modification; enforcement; paternity; step-parent adoption and domestic violence. Ms. Tener has extensive experience working with expert financial and mental health professionals when needed to ensure her client’s sensitive matters are handled with experience and professionalism.
Ms. Tener was appointed and previously served on the Florida Bar’s Family Law Rules Committee and the Florida Bar’s Grievance Committee “D.” She was also invited to become a member of Central Florida’s Family Law Inns of Court in 2009 and has been active in the organization since, working alongside fellow Orlando Family Law lawyers and judges to create educational presentations on new and noteworthy family law topics. Ms. Tener also chaired the Inns of Court social media committee and was instrumental in elevating the group’s social media presence.
She acts as a family law mediator and is in the process of receiving certification by the Florida Supreme Court in this regard. Prior to joining Greenspoon Marder in 2008, Ms. Tener litigated more than 50 jury trials with the State Attorney’s office as a felony prosecutor for the 15th Judicial Circuit Court in West Palm Beach. She has been a partner with the firm since 2013. Ms. Tener is a frequent lecturer on topics related to her family law practice.

Ms. Tener also stays active in the Central Florida community despite her significant workload and client needs, devoting volunteer time and funding for non-profit organizations aimed at serving the homeless, obtaining training for Florida law enforcement and supporting families battling pediatric cancer, such as Hope for More Foundation, Miles to Go Charity, Dionysus Collective and Runway to Hope.
