Aventura, Fla., Dec. 18, 2008 – Greenspoon Marder, P.A. has hired four new attorneys, expanded its practice areas, and opened one new office while expanding another.
In an effort to better serve its growing client base, the full-service business law firm recently opened an office in Stuart, located at 850 N.W. Federal Highway, Suite 156. Greenspoon Marder also expanded its West Palm Beach office, taking a second, larger suite. The West Palm Beach office is located at 250 S. Australian Ave., Suite 700 and Suite 1010. Greenspoon Marder also has offices in Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and Orlando.
“We have been able to expand our firm despite the sluggish economy, because we have always practiced a conservative, strategic approach to business,” said Gerald Greenspoon, co-managing partner of Greenspoon Marder. “We do not grow for the sake of growth. The areas of law in which we are currently expanding make sense.”
Joining the firm are four new attorneys, specializing in the practice areas of bankruptcy, collections and family law.
Mark Rabinowitz leads the family law practice and specializes in complex family law matters concerning child custody, distribution of marital assets, alimony, child support, paternity and the drafting of ante nuptial agreements. His clients have included nationally known athletes, televangelists and the wife of an heir to the Rockefeller fortune.
Elizabeth Tener also practices family law. She was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2004, after graduating early from the University of Miami School of Law. Prior to focusing on family law, Tener gained extensive litigation experience as an Assistant State Attorney.
Chad Paiva heads up Greenspoon Marder’s consumer and business bankruptcy practice, as well as debtor and creditors rights and collections. Paiva received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Delaware and his Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of Miami School of Law.
Marc Cohen leads Greenspoon Marder’s collections practice and also specializes in commercial litigation and Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) cases. Cohen received his Juris Doctor and Master of Laws from Temple Law School in 1975 and 1977 respectively.
