GREENSPOON MARDER ATTORNEY ALAN SOMERSTEIN INITIATED INTO LEADERSHIP BROWARD FOUNDATION’S CLASS XXXIV COMMUNITY PROJECT PROGRAM
Fort Lauderdale, FL – June 15, 2016 – Greenspoon Marder attorney Alan Somerstein has been initiated into Leadership Broward Foundation, Inc.’s Class XXXIV. The Leadership Broward Foundation has entered its 34th year, where Somerstein and 60 other community leaders embarked on a 10-month-long program to expand their skills and knowledge regarding local and state issues.
The Leadership Broward Foundation prides itself on advancing leadership development with a civil conscience. Its mission is “to develop and inspire individuals to serve our community.” This year’s class focused on passing key economic development and civic works projects important to the vitality of the Broward community.
“Leadership Broward served as a great experience and I am glad that I was encouraged to apply. It was both enriching and educational to work collaboratively with others on issues that are vital for our future,” said Somerstein.
Somerstein is a member of Greenspoon Marder’s Real Estate and Banking practice groups. He concentrates his practice on representing national, regional, and community financial institutions as well as private lenders in all aspects of business and real estate financing, including real estate acquisition and construction lending as well as asset based lending. Mr. Somerstein also has experience handling financing transactions involving the US Small Business Administration 7(a) and 504 loan programs.
