Edison, N.J. – February 8, 2022 – Greenspoon Marder attorney Ruijie “Jessica” Zhang will serve as a Judge at the upcoming Seventeenth Annual Immigration Law Moot Court Competition (ILC) hosted by NYU Moot Court Board on February 11, 2022. Dedicated to enhancing the future generation of young lawyers, Ms. Zhang, and her fellow judges will also share their insights in the legal field of immigration law.
NYU’s National ILC is the NYU Moot Court Board’s annual external moot court competition, open to teams from law schools all around the country. The ILC focuses on immigration law issues and is judged by NYU alumni and legal practitioners throughout New York.
Ms. Zhang provides strategic counsel to both corporate and individual clients on employment-based immigration matters, including non-immigrant visa categories such as H-1B, L-1, E-3, TN, and guiding clients throughout the green card process, including Program Electronic Review Management (PERM), 1-140 immigrant petitions, and adjustment of status applications. Ms. Zhang also has extensive experience handling complex H-1B RFEs on specialty occupation, employer-employee relationship as well as compliance matters dealing with the Department of Labor and USCIS requirements.
