Brown and Andrew Bechel will be featured speakers at the “Designing and Drafting the Integrated Estate Planning Structure” Celesq Webinar on April 16th. Mr. Brown and Mr. Bechel will provide an in-depth introduction to the conceptual design and implementation of a client’s overall integrated estate plan. Additional topics of discussion will include a comparison of domestic trusts versus foreign trusts for both asset protection and U.S. tax purposes, a comparative analysis of which domestic and foreign jurisdictions are more protective for asset protection purposes, and the federal and foreign tax implications of a model asset protection plan.
Mr. Brown is a partner and co-chair of the International Wealth and Asset Planning Group. He focuses his practice on trust designs that are customized to the clients’ goals of protection of assets for their family and having added flexibility in their comprehensive estate plans that allow maximizing options with regard to changing circumstances and evolving laws.
Mr. Bechel is an associate in the International Wealth & Asset Planning practice group at Greenspoon Marder LLP. Mr. Bechel focuses his practice on estate planning matters including, integrated estate planning, offshore planning, transactional matters and business and tax planning.
