Fort Lauderdale – January 12, 2017 – Greenspoon Marder attorneys Matthew Ginder and Alicia Lewis to be featured speakers at today’s Democrat Young Professionals Luncheon hosted by the Democratic Professionals Network in Fort Lauderdale. Mr. Ginder and Ms. Lewis will join a panel to discuss cannabis issues at the state and local government level.
Democratic Professionals Network (DPN) is a group of progressive leaders in Broward County dedicated to collaborating with other leaders and engaging the progressive community in campaigns, events and policy issues that will affect our lives. The organization aims to engage the progressive community to bring about progressive changes in business and policy in Broward County.
Mr. Ginder is a member of Greenspoon Marder’s cannabis law practice in Florida, which provides counsel to clients on the complex legal and business issues impacting cannabis-related companies.
Ms. Lewis focuses her practice on land use, zoning, environmental and governmental law. She successfully represents the most prominent real estate developers in the country before federal, state, regional, and local government agencies to obtain comprehensive plan amendments, rezoning, site plan approvals, platting, conditional use approvals, variances, Development of Regional Impact (DRI) amendments, and environmental permitting.
