Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – March 9, 2026 – Greenspoon Marder is pleased to announce that Land Use & Zoning partners Elizabeth Somerstein and Dennis D. Mele successfully obtained Town Council approval for the site plan of a new 151,052-square-foot industrial warehouse for Dalfen Industrial, one of North America’s leading industrial real estate owners and developers.
The project will transform the 16.2‑acre site, currently home to the Sparez bowling alley, into a modern Class A warehouse facility that is in response to surging demand for industrial space in Broward County. Located in Davie, Fla., the redevelopment will fully replace the existing 61,460‑square‑foot bowling alley with a state‑of‑the‑art warehouse.
The project continues with a broader trend in Broward County in which commercial properties are being repositioned to meet strong demand for industrial space, an area where rents, absorption, and occupancy remain at near‑historic highs.
