Newark, N.J. – February 19, 2024 – Greenspoon Marder partner Kelly M. Purcaro and senior counsel Kory Ann Ferro achieved the dismissal of all claims in a personal injury defense case on behalf of senior counsel Joseph MacLellan’s client, a New York City-based general contractor and restoration construction company.
The plaintiff’s complaint alleged the firm’s client created a hazard that caused wooden beams to fall on a worker at the site of a building under construction. Following the presentation of compelling evidence demonstrating the client’s non-involvement in the subject action, the legal team successfully obtained the dismissal of all claims with prejudice. Notably, Ms. Purcaro and Ms. Ferro facilitated this dismissal less than two months after their appearance in the case.
