GREENSPOON MARDER TO CO-HOST “UNITED STANCE” TO BRING TOGETHER KEY VOICES IN FIGHTING OPIOID EPIDEMIC
Medical, Policy, Legal and Patient Advocate Perspectives To Be Represented
Fort Lauderdale, FL – September 5, 2017 – Greenspoon Marder, Nova Southeastern University and the NSU College of Pharmacy will present, “United Stance; A Joint Effort in Solving the Opioid Epidemic,” hosting members of the U.S. Congress, the Florida Congress, CDC, DEA, United Way of Broward, state and local policy makers, expert health care providers, and members of the public. The goal is to create an “all hands on deck,” joint effort in tackling the extreme challenges of the opioid epidemic in the South Florida community as well as across the country. This symposium will look at the crisis from the policy, medical, legal and patient perspectives.
