GREENSPOON MARDER AND EQUALITY FLORIDA HOST SEMINAR
“TRANSGENDER EMPLOYEES AND THE WORKPLACE: BREAKING THE BARRIERS”
ORLANDO– January 12, 2017 – Greenspoon Marder has partnered with Equality Florida to host “Transgender Employees and The Workplace: Breaking the Barrier” seminar on February 22rd in Orlando at the Embassy Suites. Greenspoon Marder shareholder, Myrna Maysonet, will be among the group of panelist speaking at the seminar. She will be joined by Dr. David Baker-Hargrove and Dr. Laura Ellis of Two Spirit Health, and Gina Duncan of Equality Florida Action.
This seminar provides a multi-disciplinary in-depth approach to particular issues involving transgender employees in order to facilitate communication between employers and employees and compliance with the law. Our hope is to foster greater understanding of this issue by creating a forum that provides needed guidance to employers striving to adjust to an ever changing workforce.
