Fort Lauderdale, FL – August 3, 2016 – Greenspoon Marder Co-Managing Directors, Gerry Greenspoon and Michael Marder, are featured on the cover of the South Florida Business & Wealth (SFBW) August 2016 Edition. Along with their cover page, SFBW highlighted the firm’s founders and discussed the vast growth the firm has experienced over 35 years.
“We don’t wait for opportunities to come to us. We envision where the opportunities are and seek them out,” Marder says. The founders discuss their philosophy of trying to make good decisions with all the information available, and knowing that if they can accept the worst-case scenario, they can more comfortably focus on the opportunity.
A key consideration is always how a decision will affect shareholders. “We want them to benefit as much as possible. That has worked because we basically have no turnover in our shareholders. They are here for life; they love it and they are so happy. It’s not because we tie them here, but because they say this is a great place to be,” Greenspoon says.
