Orlando, FL – May 6, 2019 – Greenspoon Marder was proud to host the IOA Orlando Corporate 5K Awards Reception at the firm’s Orlando office on May 2nd. The reception was the culmination of the fundraising effort initiated with the corporate run on April 18, 2019, and team captains and team members gathered at the reception to pick up their corporate awards. As a result of this corporate and community effort, funds were raised to provide a record-breaking total of 164,500 meals to be provided to the needy by Second Harvest Food Bank. Greenspoon Marder again received the annual Fork and Spoon award for raising the most funds of any participating team, raising enough money to provide 40,000 meals. The firm is a proud corporate partner of the IOA Orlando Corporate 5K and will continue to serve the less fortunate in our local communities at this annual event.
Chief Impact Officer, Myrna Maysonet, presented Office Services Clerk, Janice Nixon, with the Orlando office’s internal “Team Spirit” Award for her ongoing support of the firm’s charitable efforts.
