New York, NY – October 22, 2019 – Greenspoon Marder, a full-service U.S. law firm with a leading cannabis practice, is proud to host a U.S. Cannabis Regulatory Update on November 20^th at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto, Ontario. The event will be hosted in collaboration with the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE), which began operations in 2003 to provide a modern and efficient alternative for companies looking to access the Canadian public capital markets and MNP, a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada.

Greenspoon Marder New York partner, Michael Smith, will serve as the moderator for the panel alongside firm-wide co-managing director, Gerald Greenspoon, Denver partner and chair of the cannabis practice, Rachel Gillette, New York partner, Patricia Gannon, and Principal and CEO of The Liaison Group, Saphira Galoob. The panel will discuss the current U.S. regulatory environment. Topics will include banking, immigration, M&A, taxation, hemp, CBD and other trends in the cannabis industry.

Ms. Gannon focuses her practice on business immigration. She advises multi-nationals on employment verification matters and develops various compliance strategies and programs
