Nelson will be a featured speaker at the Southern University Law Center Legally Connected: 2nd Annual Sports and Entertainment Symposium panel entitled “Inside Scoop with Aliya J. Nelson.” The panel will take place on Friday, October 29, 2021, from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. EST. Ms. Nelson will discuss her insights on the future of the sports and entertainment industry.
Began in 2020, the symposium features conversations with leading c-suite executives in the sports and entertainment industry.
Ms. Nelson focuses on entertainment, intellectual property, and corporate transactional matters. She has substantial experience in all aspects of corporate and entertainment law, which includes representing sports, media, and technology companies, as well as marketing agencies and Grammy award-winning artists, songwriters, and producers. She serves as a trusted advisor and a fierce advocate for her clients. Ms. Nelson’s practice involves regularly advising board of directors and senior management of sports, media and technology companies, financial institutions, and real estate developers.
