Fort Lauderdale, FL – February 11, 2020 – Greenspoon Marder is pleased to announce that partner Dana Somerstein was recently re-appointed to the city of Fort Lauderdale’s Complete Count Advisory Committee and voted as the Committee’s Vice Chair. Responsibilities of the committee include information about the 2021 Census, assisting in publicizing the 2021 Census, and recommending outreach efforts to encourage participation in the 2021 Census. Census results help determine how billions of dollars in federal funding flow into states and communities each year. Ms. Somerstein is passionate about making sure everyone is counted and excited to be working to increase participation in the 2020 census, which is the first census to be available online.
Dana Somerstein is a partner with Greenspoon Marder’s Real Estate and Banking & Finance practice groups, representing clients in a wide range of real estate transactions, including counseling developers and lenders on the acquisition, sale, financing and leasing of both commercial and residential properties. She has experience working throughout the United States closing transactions involving retail, mixed-use, multi-family, hotel, office, warehouse, condominium, automobile dealership and self-storage.
