Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – June 25, 2026 – Greenspoon Marder is pleased to announce that partner David Weisman has been invited to join the Advisory Board of the Advanced Commercial Leasing Institute (ACLI), a program of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL). The invitation-only appointment recognizes Weisman’s standing as one of the nation’s leading commercial leasing attorneys.
ACREL is a national association of preeminent commercial real estate lawyers. Fellows are admitted by invitation after a rigorous screening process that evaluates legal ability, experience, and professional and ethical conduct in the practice of real estate law. The ACLI brings together top leasing practitioners from across the country for in-depth programming on emerging issues in commercial leasing. Serving on its Advisory Board places Weisman among a select group of attorneys who help shape the program’s content and direction.
Weisman has practiced real estate law for over 45 years and is a Florida Bar Board Certified Real Estate Lawyer, a distinction held by a limited group of attorneys recognized for advanced knowledge, skill, and professionalism in the field. His practice covers commercial leasing and complex commercial real estate transactions, including representation of landlords, tenants, investors, and developers. He regularly speaks and writes on leasing issues for the Florida Bar and the American Bar Association, and previously served as an Adjunct Professor at the Huizenga College of Business at Nova Southeastern University, teaching Real Estate Law and Ethics in the Masters of Science in Real Estate Development Program.
