Greenspoon Marder Partner Deborah Baker Joins Golden Angel Society at Jackson Health Foundation

Miami, Fla. – February 7, 2023 – Greenspoon Marder is pleased to announce that partner Deborah Baker has joined the Golden Angel Society at Jackson Health Foundation.

The Golden Angels Society is the Foundation’s premier giving organization, representing approximately 400 individuals, corporations, and foundations committed to leading the charge in ensuring that Jackson Memorial Hospital provides care to all – regardless of ability to pay. The Society helps make certain that Jackson Health System has the opportunity to hire world-class medical personnel, invest in state-of-the-art facilities and breakthrough technology, and purchase necessary life-saving equipment. Because of Jackson’s partnership with the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, the Golden Angels also raise necessary capital to support the latest medical research, with patients traveling across the globe for treatment.

Deborah Baker is a partner in the litigation practice group and is the Firm’s Director of Attorney Development. Ms. Baker focuses her law practice in the areas of commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution, with significant emphasis in the areas of business and real estate litigation. Ms. Baker has represented public and private companies in a variety of corporate litigation matters. She has litigated shareholder derivative lawsuits through trial and appeals, ending with favorable outcomes for her clients. She is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator and has been appointed by the Miami-Dade County Circuit Court to act as a Special Magistrate to assist the Court, litigants and their counsel in resolving discovery disputes in lawsuits pending in the Complex Business Litigation Division.
