Boca Raton, Fla. – March 7, 2023 – Greenspoon Marder partner Laurence “Larry” I. Blair will be the recipient of the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) National Endowment Achievement Award, presented by the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County (JFSPBC). The Endowment Achievement Award honors a member of the community who, through leadership, vision, and dedication, has been instrumental to the successful growth of the Federation or Foundation’s endowment program. This annual award provides each community with an opportunity to recognize and thank their distinguished lay leader both locally and nationally. In addition to honoring the lay leader, the award also reflects the achievements of the endowment program over the past year. Mr. Blair will be honored during the JFSPBC’s 2023 Annual Meeting being held on Wednesday, March 29.
Rooted in Jewish values, and for more than 40 years, the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County (JFSPBC) has come together to foster and sustain a strong, compassionate, and dynamic Jewish community today and for years to come. With the help of their donors, supporters and partner agencies, they are equipped and empowered to provide for the Jewish people locally, in Israel, and around the world.
Mr. Blair concentrates his practice in the areas of estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning with an emphasis on representing families and entrepreneurs in multiple-generation wealth transfer and asset protection planning. He also represents clients with business succession planning needs, including shareholders’ agreements, buy-sell and cross purchase agreements, and business transactions, including purchases and sales of businesses. A well-known community leader, Mr. Blair is the current Vice Chair of the Jacobson Jewish Community Foundation and part of the 2022-2023 Federation Officers for JFSPBC.
