Las Vegas – July 13, 2023 – Greenspoon Marder is pleased to announce that partner Phillip Silvestri has been recognized among the “Mountain States Rising Stars” for 2023 by Super Lawyers Magazine. Mr. Silvestri has been selected to Rising Stars consecutively dating back to 2012.
Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Like the Super Lawyers selection process, the Rising Stars list uses a patented multiphase selection process combining peer nomination and evaluations with independent research to select the top attorneys. To be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, however, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. All attorneys go through the Super Lawyers selection process first, and those who meet either of the Rising Stars eligibility requirements go through the second selection process. While up to 5% of the lawyers in the state are named Super Lawyers, no more than 2.5% are named to the Rising Stars list.
Mr. Silvestri focuses on the representation of clients in highly regulated industries. His practice includes representing large timeshare developers in complex litigation and other aspects of their business. He also has extensive experience in state and federal litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and representing businesses in the cannabis space. Mr. Silvestri serves as an arbitrator for the Eighth Judicial District Court and a mediator for the state of Nevada Real Estate Division.
