The publication honors practitioners who have been game changers and are innovators in the legal industry.
In Mr. Giller’s “West Trailblazers” profile, he discussed what led him to create the sports insurance practice niche, and elaborates on how he has represented dozens of athletes in maximizing payouts for their disability and loss of value insurance claims.
Mr. Giller serves as head of the Insurance Recovery and Counseling practice group at Greenspoon Marder LLP. He concentrates his practice on recovering insurance benefits from recalcitrant insurance companies on behalf of his institutional and individual clients. Mr. Giller has represented athletes from all four major American sports leagues (MLB, NBA, NFL, and NHL) and several professional sports teams, advising them on a variety of insurance issues. Over the course of his career, he has successfully secured hundreds of millions of dollars in defense costs, settlements, and indemnity payments on behalf of his clients.
