Phoenix, Ariz. – April 30, 2021 – Greenspoon Marder is pleased to announce that partner Sharon Urias was appointed as Vice-Chair of the State Bar of Arizona Fee Arbitration Program. Additionally, Ms. Urias has been an arbitrator in the program since 2009.
The Fee Arbitration Program is a free, voluntary program where an arbitrator is assigned to determine what the reasonable fees should be for the legal services that were performed. Arbitrators hold fee arbitration hearings and issue awards in Fee Arbitration matters assigned to them. The Program consists of 60 or more volunteers, each of whom works independently on the matter(s) to which he/she is assigned.
Sharon Urias is a partner in the Intellectual Property and Litigation practice groups at Greenspoon Marder. Ms. Urias is experienced in advising clients on intellectual property matters, as well as representing clients in business and intellectual property litigation, including matters involving trademarks, domain name issues, patents, trade secrets and copyrights.
