Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – October 1, 2021 – Greenspoon Marder is pleased to announce that Manuel L. Crespo and Marla Neufeld have been recognized in The American Lawyer’s 2021 Inaugural List of South Trailblazers. Through the various Trailblazers special supplements, The American Lawyer recognizes agents of change who have made significant marks on practice, policy, and technological advancements in their areas of legal practice.
Mr. Crespo is a partner in the Real Estate practice group at Greenspoon Marder. He concentrates his practice on real estate and commercial transactions, including title insurance, condominium development and the conversion from existing rental unit buildings to condominium ownership. He has litigated real property disputes, contract and title disputes, construction, landlord-tenant, foreclosures, and other real estate matters. His institutional clients have included national banks and real estate developers.
Ms. Neufeld is a partner in Greenspoon Marder’s Surrogacy and Assisted Reproductive Technology practice group, which she founded, and represents parties working with a surrogate, egg, sperm or embryo donor. Ms. Neufeld experienced her own infertility journey for many years and ultimately worked with a gestational surrogate to build her own family. She co-authored a book published by the American Bar Association titled, The ABA Guide to Assisted Reproduction: Techniques, Legal Issues and Pathways to Success and was the winner of the Law360, Distinguished Legal Writing Awards, Burton Awards- for her article she co-authored titled, The A, B, Cs (along with CDCs and FDAs) of Regulatory Implications over Assisted Reproductive Technology” published in the ABA Health Law Journal, December 2019.
