GREENSPOON MARDER PROMOTES TWO ATTORNEYS TO PARTNER AND SENIOR COUNSEL IN 2018
Fort Lauderdale, FL – January 17, 2018 – Greenspoon Marder is pleased to announce the promotions of Marla Neufeld to partner and Joshua J. Remedios to senior counsel. The promotions became effective on January 16, 2018.
Marla Neufeld is a Partner in the firm’s Surrogacy practice group in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is the founder of the firm’s Assisted Reproductive Technology practice group and represents parties using a surrogate, egg, sperm and embryo donor. Ms. Neufeld was personally part of the statistic of one of every six couples of childbearing age struggling with infertility and utilizes her own experience with her fertility related legal practice. She also co-authored a book published by the American Bar Associated title, The ABA Guide to Assisted Reproduction: Techniques, Legal Issues and Pathways to Success.
Joshua Remedios is a Senior Counsel in the firm’s Hospitality, Alcohol and Leisure Industry practice group in Miami, Florida. He focuses his practice on the laws governing the alcohol beverage industry and works within all three tiers of the alcohol industry. His experience includes representing clients in various land use and zoning proceedings, civil litigation proceedings and appeals, administrative litigation, criminal defense of alleged violations of alcohol beverage laws, commercial business transactions and lease negotiations and assignments.
