Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – July 26, 2021 – Greenspoon Marder represented Fort Lauderdale-based BTI Partners in the acquisition of the 11-story Bread Building, a multi-million 3.24-acre redevelopment site at 1747 Van Buren Street, Hollywood, FL. Greenspoon Marder partner David Weisman, a Board Certified Real Estate Lawyer, provided real estate and corporate counsel experience to the purchaser since the initial contract in April of 2019 and served as the closing and title agent. The sale price of the transaction was $11 million. The seller of the property was MG3 Hollywood, which is affiliated with Aventura-based MG3 Developer Group.
“This transaction demonstrates that there is real value and growth in the South Florida real estate market during the COVID-19 pandemic,” says Mr. Weisman. “This deal will serve a $500 million Hollywood circle redevelopment project buildout that will develop residential, retail, mixed-use and other commercial real estate spaces.”
