Greenspoon Marder Shareholder Appointed as Chair of the Board of Legal Specialization and Education of the Florida Bar

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – September 27, 2013- John H. “Jack” Pelzer, a shareholder of Greenspoon Marder’s Fort Lauderdale office, has been appointed to serve as the Chair of the Board of Legal Specialization and Education of the Florida Bar, effective Monday, September 23, 2013.

Florida Bar President Pettis has approved Pelzer’s appointment. Pelzer is starting his fifth year as a member of the Board of Legal Specialization and Education. For the six years immediately preceding Pelzer’s service on the Board of Legal Specialization and Education, he served on the Appellate Practice Certification Committee, and was Chair of that Committee for one of those six years.

Pelzer is Board Certified by The Florida Bar as a specialist in Appellate Law and served as a member of the Appellate Rules Committee of The Florida Bar.
