GREENSPOON MARDER SHAREHOLDER DEBORAH BAKER-EGOZI TO BE A FEATURED SPEAKER AT DCBA’S “SUPER STARS IN TRIAL & JURY SELECTION”
Miami, FL – July 15, 2016 – Greenspoon Marder shareholder Deborah Baker-Egozi will be a featured speaker at today’s Dade County Bar Associations “Super Stars in Trial & Jury Selection” event. She will be joined by three dozen of Florida’s most experienced trial lawyers & judges. Together they will teach participating attorneys how to further develop and refine their skills in voir dire, opening, closing, cross and direct exam, jury selection, pre-trial motions, and handling experts.
After the speeches are complete, guests will be witnessing the jury deliberate and hear comments from the judicial panel. The event will allow attorneys to learn how jurors evaluate cases and benefit from the view from the bench. The jury is comprised of random members of the South Florida Community.
Baker-Egozi currently sits on the Florida Bar Board of Governors. She was the 2014-2015 president of Miami-Dade Florida Association of Women Lawyers (FAWL), and was instrumental in the passage of legislation outlawing revenge pornography. In addition, she is a Civil Rights Committee Member for the Anti-Defamation League.
