GREENSPOON MARDER SHAREHOLDER JOSEPH GELLER SPEAKER AT THE
MIAMI-DADE ETHICS COMMISSION’S MUNICIPAL LUNCHEON
MIAMI BEACH, FL – JUNE 2, 2017 – Greenspoon Marder shareholder, Joseph Geller, will be a speaker at The Miami-Dade Ethics Commission on Ethics & Public Trust Municipal Luncheon, “Home Rule: What Is Its Future In Florida?” The event will be held at the Miami Beach Golf Club from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on June 2, 2017.
They will look at recent proposed legislation that takes local discretion away from counties and cities, as well as discussing what is inspiring state lawmakers to put Tallahassee in charge of hot topic issues and why are local government leaders up in arms. Guests in attendance will hear from two Democratic House members and two former Republican legislators who will report on which bills passed and which failed, and explain their positions on them.
Mr. Geller focuses his practice on civil litigation, administrative law, election law, government relations and municipal law. He has extensive litigation experience in both the Florida and federal courts. Mr. Geller was elected to the State House of Representatives, District 100, representing parts of Northeast Dade and Southeast Broward, in November, 2014.
